Oasis is great! My furnace is almost 30 years old and for a reasonable price they were able to do the repairs. First Danny came to evaluate. He showed me what was wrong. Joseph was fantastic. Super knowledgeable straight shooter who fixed my heating problem immediately - literally knew instantly upon looking what was wrong. Bad business model. Their approach is: your heater's issue is so bad, it's unsolvable by just getting the one part that's faulty right now. Even if we were to get it and replace it, there might be underlying issues which we can't account for. It's better to just get a new furnace, and if you don't have the money, you can address the so-and-so bank and get credit, they're good people. If we were to translate this model into auto-repair, it'd be like: we could change your tire, but what you really need is a new car. Or - translated in medicine: we could fix your husband's kidney, but how about you get a new husband altogether?

Of course the person that oversaw my furnace this morning was like a witch doctor. Didn't even take the screen off, just turned on the thermostat and listened, then went: "oh, it's so bad it's crazy, the blower motor's gone" and hurried to send me an email estimate of the products they're selling and installing. When all this is happening so quickly, you just know something's wrong. What's wrong is that you brought in and accepted a charge from someone who had no intention of doing any work in the first place, plus they had a ready-made reason to explain your furnace's deficiency without even looking at it. That, in my book, is a scam. It's like paying to bring a store vendor into your house and having them tell you: well, I don't know how to fix this, but we definitely have a replacement in the store. How one can call this "providing a service" is beyond me.

So the firm representative collected a $165 service fee for no service, and to prevent any arguing that there's no service, took the lid off and inserted the screwdriver into the inducer motor to show that it's not rotating. I ended up bringing someone else in, and luckily that person wanted to actually work and get paid for the work, so he replaced the faulty part (which was NOT the blower motor). In a nutshell, my belief about Oasis is that it's filled with people who can only do whole unit replacements rather than actual service. So, next to overpricing, you've got lesser qualifications and false advertising. In an idiomatic sentence, here goes my two cents and 165 bucks.

P.S I won't dispute the demeanor of the representative, he was very courteous and explanatory, except not related to the issue at hand, but merely to the matter of selling a product. I've got no way to verify this, but I bet some of the positive reviews present here were written in exchange for some sort of a discount.

Update: Used Oasis a second time for a completely different problem, and they were equally as excellent as the first time. On time, great communication, thorough, experts in anything HVAC-related. This time, we’d discovered that our developer botched the install of our whole-house humidifier, and Oasis saved the day by properly installing a new one only a couple of days after first discovering the problem. Our days of brutally cracked skin and loose floor boards are now behind us! Thanks again, Oasis team!

When we turned on our central air this season, it didn’t seem to be working at all — it would say it was running but either the air coming out wasn’t cooled or there wasn’t any air coming out at all.

We subscribe to competing company’s monthly maintenance program for our HVAC and plumbing, and they’d tested and passed our unit only a month earlier. I had them come back and they diagnosed the problem as a likely refrigerant leak — they explained how they’d go about fixing it and the cost to repair but highly encouraged us instead to buy a whole new system from them — repair cost ~$2500, replacement cost <$10000!

I decided to get a second quote and found Oasis. I liked that they specialize in heating/cooling, and their refrigerant leak repair process sounded much more thorough and was quoted for about the same as the other company. So I went with Oasis because they gave me more confidence that they could fully fix the problem.

They were available within days. The morning of the service, they called to say that they’d had a bunch of their technicians call in sick so they’d be 2 hours later, which was fine — I was just happy that they gave me the heads up so early in the day. They arrived on time at the later time and spent 2 hours testing, locating, and repairing the refrigerant leak. They were incredibly professional and thorough and our HVAC is back to 100% working order. As an added bonus, they gave us a discount because they’d had to arrive 2 hours later than originally planned!

Excellent service and communication across the board. They deserve all of their 5-star reviews!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with them. While the technicians were friendly, they did not fix our issue, 3 days and a dangerous gas leak later, we finally had our heat back. In between this mess the owner didn’t even return our calls and no apology when we had to take our kids out of the house for the night. It was during the bitter cold weekend and had to buy space heaters, and then were charged a huge amount for their mistake. I would not recommend if you have an older boiler or unit. I think the lack of experience showed.

I would like to thank the team at Oasis for bringing warmth back into our home. Our boiler of over 40 years finally decided to conk out, and the crew of Danny, Villy, Baba, and Mikey stepped in with outstanding professionalism. They removed the old unit, installed the new one with care and efficiency, and treated our home with real respect throughout the process. We’re grateful not only for the heat they restored, but for the kindness and skill they showed from start to finish.
OH MY GOD! Amazing experience with Oasis!!! Mark & Danny came out to fix a persistent heat issue we were having with heat not getting to the second floor of our unit; we figured it was just an old model and time for a new one. To our surprise, the furnace is FINE, the sensor needed to be cleaned, some things needed to be rewired, but this fixed the issue almost immediately. They were knowledgeable, provided solutions and explained everything super thoroughly to us. After they left, it was like a miracle; the heat started working again! NEEDED on these really cold days in Chicago and with a newborn at home!!

10/10 would recommend and use Oasis again.

Danny and team were fantastic. I had them install two new variable speed furnaces and a zoning system. It was a little complicated of an install so did have some initial issues, but the team came back as many times as needed to ensure the system was working for us. We are now living in much more comfort than before, and at a very competitive price. We received multiple bids, but wanted to go with Oasis due to Danny's excellent ideas and explanations during the estimate walkthrough. Oasis also came in with the most competitive price so it was an easy decision. Highly recommend Danny and the rest of the Oasis team.

He didn't believe me when told him its blowing cold air. He stood there hand on the vent trying to convince us it's getting hot. It's lukewarm at best. Waste of money. $165 down the drain. That should be illegal. Didn't suggest a part replacement. Only suggested to buy a $6000 new furnace. It's short cycling that's not a broken furnace that's new parts wear and tear situation. I will never recommend Oasis to anyone.

We hit furnace trouble on one of the coldest days of the year, and Oasis still got us in the same day—on-site within two hours of my call. Great experience with Oasis. When my furnace stopped working they were able to have someone (Danny) come out the next day. Danny explained everything very well and gave me estimates to replace the broken inducer motor and to to replace the whole furnace. I appreciated that he wasn't pushy in any direction but gave me his honest take.

I had initially decided to replace the whole system, but then changed my mind and decided just to replace the part. When I called the office and asked if it was okay to change the plan, Chris was very understanding of my situation and I did not get a hard time about it. I really appreciated that.

Joseph came out the next day to replace the motor, and like Danny did a great job of explaining things and seemed very honest.

Overall every interaction I had with Oasis personnel was very positive and I felt like I was getting honest expertise. They were all very kind as well.

Oasis always delivers! After doing repair work on our AC last year - because the company that did the install wouldn’t return our calls for service - we knew they were the right call for our furnace!

Our furnace motor went out a few days ago - during the winter/a week before Christmas! What a nightmare. Oasis was able to come out first thing the next morning without charging us for an emergency call! Naheem was our repair tech and within 15 minutes he diagnosed the problem and gave us a couple of options with cost estimates. He provided his professional opinion and it felt genuine and unlike a sales pitch!

2 days later, Serge and Harvey came to replace our furnace! They were incredibly kind, respectful and efficient - arriving on time and finishing within the estimated time window. At the end, they did a walkthrough of the new furnace, answered questions about the filters, and even took time to re-affix and correct the settings on our Nest thermostat (that we fully messed up before calling them).

This company is incredibly responsive and professional. They installed two new furnaces and AC units in 2021 in our home. This wasn’t the easiest with one of the furnaces in the attic. They did an excellent job and the units have been working really well. Today, they did some maintenance service on the furnaces and again were friendly, super helpful and very knowledgeable. This is a great company to work with!

Just an update, 12/9/25. We had the units serviced today and Joseph was great. He texted before he arrived allowing me time to put the dogs in kitchen. He was right on time, quick and efficient, and he communicated really well. Plus, he answered all my questions. Really like this company!

Fernando and Michael did a fantastic job with the removal and install of our new furnace. Had some helpful tips on operation and maintenance of the new system. Would likely recommend. Very professional and courteous. Great work!
