Oasis was incredibly responsive and efficient! My call to them on a Friday night during a cold spell was returned within 10 minutes and he scheduled a tech to come to my home at 7 the following morning. The technician was extremely unprofessional and incredibly rude. He got frustrated by how I might have misunderstood his poorly communicated instructions and started to take out his frustrations on me by throwing accusations in the middle of a service. He barged into the apartment and started to open random doors without my permission trying to find the water heater, despite that I was already there, showing him the way. He did not listen and kept yelling. Horrible and horrifying experience. I don’t know his name because he never said hello or introduced himself but he’s a white man with ginger hair. I’ve worked with many HVAC techs, electricians and plumbers for my job and he surely was THE worst in this country.

Had a great experience working with Chris, the plumber from Oasis! My Navien tankless water heater stopped working, and Chris was able to repair the broken parts instead of needing to replace the entire unit, which other companies told me was the best option. He was professional, friendly and did an overall fantastic job. We had a very upsetting experience with Chris from Oasis. My elderly in-laws had their gas shut off by People’s Gas due to a house pipe leak in the basement. My wife and I drove in from the north suburbs to help them, since this was a stressful and unsafe situation.

When Chris arrived, instead of helping, he insisted nothing could be done until People’s Gas marked the lines which was not relevant since the leak was inside the house. While we were actively looking for the official paperwork from People’s Gas (which clearly stated that a contractor needed to pressure test the system at 3 PSI), Chris had no patience, was rude and yelling, and ultimately left before we could even show it to him.

My in-laws were left without answers, without a repair, and with a very unprofessional encounter. This was not the service we expected, and it was a waste of time in a situation where we needed clarity and help.

Very happy with the service when my AC stopped working. Originally Oasis could not do a consultation on the weekend and they put me on a waitlist. Fortunately they contacted me later that day and scheduled me for the weekend. I ended up having to replace my system and they gave me a fair price with an end of season discount. The workers were on time a couple days later, replaced the system quickly and even installed my smart thermostat at no extra charge. Would use Oasis again in a heartbeat!

Update for 2025:
Oasis comes through again. I recently learned that Oasis now offers duct and vent cleaning, so when our dryer stopped drying, I knew just who to call. A phone call Monday got me service Thursday morning. As before, the team was prompt, professional, and effective.

Oasis Heating and Cooling have been so helpful to us. A couple of years ago they replaced our heater during a cold snap, and now they have saved us from the heatwave. Our AC went out Saturday afternoon, and they responded to my service request within an hour and had a tech out Sunday morning. Naem assessed the problem, recommended a new unit (ours was more than 15 years old), and installed a temporary replacement part to carry us through until the installation crew could replace the unit on Wednesday. That crew was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. Though the installation took twice the time estimated because they had to rebuild some of the exhaust chimney, the final price was as in the estimate—no extra charges for labor time. Strongly recommend!

Oasis went above and beyond to fix a very complex issue with my A/C. Mike was able to come out the day I called, and after some thorough troubleshooting, he was able to diagnose an extremely challenging problem. Oasis is a first class HVAC company. Oasis installed a new MagicPak unit for my condo in River North 1 year ago. Oasis completed the 1 year service as well. All of the services that Oasis provided were excellent. The Oasis crew replaced our HVAC system including AC compressor in just over half a day. They did a fantastic job - delivered what was promised - install looks neat and tidy. They had to get the AC compressor onto the roof of our 3 story building. The crane operator they used was quick and professional. I would recommend Oasis for maintenance and installs of HVAC systems. We called Oasis for our A/C unit was out of order on Tuesday and they were out the next day in the morning. In my 10+ years of living in Chicago, I have had unpleasant experiences being upsold to and mansplained at about HVAC systems. Chicago weather can be so dramatic and that does take a toll on the systems, but I can confidently say the folks at Oasis are the best.
