HVAC Technician/Installer Apprentice

We are always accepting applications for Service Technicians/Installer Apprentices that are looking to get into the trades. Learn from our experienced team of expert HVAC technicians and installers. Physical Demands:
Applicants need to be able climb ladders, crawl in an attic or tight spaces, stand and kneel for extended periods of time, and work outdoors in all weather. Applicants must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. multiple times within any given shift to perform service work.

HVAC Technician

Oasis is great! My furnace is almost 30 years old and for a reasonable price they were able to do the repairs. First Danny came to evaluate. He showed me what was wrong. They had to order the necessary parts to fix it. Today Hani and Fernando came to do the repair. They were efficient and courteous. I will definitely use Oasis in the future.

Oasis was incredibly responsive and efficient! My call to them on a Friday night during a cold spell was returned within 10 minutes and he scheduled a tech to come to my home at 7 the following morning. At 7 the tech was there, examined my furnace confirming that a new motor was necessary. He searched for the part, sent a quote and returned with the motor by noon the same day to install it. You can’t beat that!!! I will be using Oasis for all my future furnace and A/C needs.

I had a great experience with Oasis. Our furnace had issues on Thursday night and Oasis came at 7am the next morning, and we found out we needed a new one. They provided all the necessary information to our condo building so we could get an emergency replacement on Saturday morning. Within 36 hours we had a brand new furnace and the installation team did a great job communicating on their work and how to use the furnace. The owner, Mike, and his team are great and I really appreciated the attention they gave to this matter. I would highly recommend and will only go to them in the future.

10/25/2024 edit: Two gripes I'm adding on here. I wish you can schedule online without having to wait for a reply or an email back and forth. I believe they had it at one point and then it went away.And two, I had a thermostat installation on Tuesday morning by Hani. Great service, super professional. But I didn't get a receipt emailed to me until I asked for it on Friday afternoon (because I needed it for rebate for Comed & People's Gas). And I was made to feel like I was a bother when I followed up my email with a phone call. Well, I wouldn't be emailing and calling if I got the receipt at least within the same day my credit card got charged. When I had my HVAC serviced about a month or two ago, I got the receipt within a minute of me paying. Not sure what was different this time.I’ve used Oasis for a couple of years now. They are wonderfully on time and easy to schedule with. Always very professional and makes sure to let me know about everything they see. I’ll keep on using them for the foreseeable future.

I arrived home on a Friday evening to find a furnace gas leak in my downstair's tenant apartment. People's Gas quickly turned off the gas, and Oasis came the next morning to investigate the problem. Given the age of the furnace I was not surprised that it needed replacement. They were able to start and finish the new installation on Monday afternoon. I really appreciated that my tenant did not have long to wait before heat was restored.

I have been using them for around 25 years and they always due a good job and at reasonable prices. They have installed all of the ACs and furnaces at our three flat

The service guys Anel and Vaha did an awesome job in moving the new unit to a proper location in our backyard and installing quickly on a very hot day. Thank you to Mike who sent me his three angels today on the hottest day of the year. Thank you Anel , Vaha, and Kiki. They showed up on time. These boys were very professional, polite, kind, and oh my god clean. They did such a good job. I called during the middle of a heatwave when my A/C died. Mike quoted me on Monday and Installed on Tuesday. Very affordable and have very competitive pricing. I got three other quotes, that were just outrageous compared to Oasis. The pricing was very fair, especially for this economy. When the furnace finally dies I know where I’m getting my new one. I can’t say enough GREAT things about this company and their service. They sent someone same day to service our broken air conditioning unit. We are supposed to have 90+ degree weather this weekend so we really appreciated how quickly they came. When my furnace started failing this past winter I contacted multiple HVAC contractors. Oasis was the only contract who didn't try to sell me on an immediate replacement. They cleaned the unit which got it working well enough to last another winter. They also provided a no-frills quote that the least expensive of their competitors. My AC was not working when I woke up in my home this past Saturday. I called Oasis and Damir called me soon after saying he was 20 minutes out. He arrived and took a look, and was able to diagnose the issue right away with a new capacitor. The diagnosis and work in total took about 30 minutes. Since the unit was under warranty I only had to pay for service. Damir was incredibly efficient, professional and knowledgeable as he educated me about what was going on and how he was going to fix it. The service was prompt, thorough and incredible! He had my AC back to working in no time at all!

I cannnot recommend Oasis Heating & Cooling more! We have used them twice so far. Once for installing 2 HVACs in our city townhouse, requiring a crane and removal of old units. The process was smooth all the way through. Hani and his team were professional and communicated well from estimate to completion. Following that experience, we continued with maintenance of our HVACs with Oasis over several years.This month, we just purchased a home in Chicago. The previous homeowner had at least 1 dog and left visible dog hair throughout the home. After cleaning the house, I looked in the vents and found more dog hair. We decided to call Oasis for a Vent Cleaning estimate, a relatively new service they provide. Although their schedule was full with A/C jobs, they fit us in because we hadn't yet moved in, so access to the vents was easier. Vaha, Kike, Fernando and their team were amazing, particularly on a warm and humid day, which you can't run AC while the cleaning is in process. They went above and beyond fixing and replacing vent covers that were reversed throughout the house. Again, they communicated through the entire process and took care of everything that came up during the service.We did get estimates from other vent cleaners who offer initially low looking rates, but then charge per vent that they clean or have other ways of making the price difference up. I also found some of them to be uncaring and/or pushy about their service - very "take it or leave it" attitudes. Oasis is reasonable with a per HVAC charge that includes all vents that are connected to that HVAC. Their equipment is top notch and their staff - from estimate to completion are caring and professional.I would not hesitate to use them again and strongly recommend their services! This is a fantastic company!

Oasis installed a Bryant furnace / ac combo in my duplex apartment. The guys did a good job with a challenging downflow furnace and horizontal coil installation. HVAC work is expensive, but Mike’s price was the most competitive.

I was incredibly impressed with my first interaction with Oasis Heating and Cooling. On a Sunday morning, we woke up to a broken air conditioner. That particular day was over 90 degrees and extremely humid, and we were hosting a birthday party for my 1-year-old son. With a large number of guests arriving in the next two hours, the AC breakdown couldn't have happened at a worse time.I called various heating and cooling companies across the city, but none were available on a Sunday, and the next available appointments were not until the following week. I knew it was a long shot to get someone to our home on short notice on a Sunday morning.However, this is where Oasis Heating and Cooling truly stood out with their exceptional service and customer care. I left a message with their team, and they showed a tremendous amount of care and concern for our situation. I will always call Oasis Heating and Cooling first from now on! My air conditioning stopped working during a heat wave and after being told I needed a whole new furnace unit, and that I probably should replace the AC too, I decided to call Oasis to compare quotes before spending $8000+. Oasis was able to come the next day, and was able trouble shoot. I went from needing to replace an entire HVAC unit to paying a service call for a blown fuse. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism of Oasis!
